Welcome!

After a much longer than anticipated hiatus, I'm back! This time I'm blogging about our journey to creating our homestead, our woodland treat, our home away from home! 
You can still expect to see that same old sarcasm seeping through, the tongue-in-cheek style that I just can't help. But this time I'll be musing about the nitty-gritty details of building- literally and figuratively- our new lifestyle as land owners! Who don't really know what the heck we're doing.... so buckle up, this should be interesting.
